Lisa was born in Clane in Kildare.  After finishing secondary school with honours she went on to study Journalism and Media Communications in Griffith College Dublin where she completed her degree and wrote articles for her college paper. During the course she studied PR, event management, photography, TV and radio along with many other subjects.
After college lisa went into the beauty industry where she worked for two years in Toni n Guy and gained many skills and also completed a make up course with Face Stockholm.

On the lookout for something new she went into the cosmetic dentistry business Dental Options. She helped set up the company and trained and qualified as a dental nurse while working full time as manageress in the company. She has brought many assets to the company and has written advertising articles for the surgery as well as running the company web sites.

As she always likes to take on new challenges she also studied at night receiving qualifications in Psychology through Maynooth College and Anatomy and Physiology through Clane School.
